Silpada Display

The Hazleton High School Class of 1970 and Castle Fund board of directors announced the sponsors for the Rock the Castle Summer Concert and Classic Car Display on Aug. The classic car display in front of the school will be a tribute to the late Stephen Pelley, who was a member of the Class of 1970. The event will feature local bands, the Ronnie Sando Band and Pop Rox, from 7 to 10 p. m. at the Hazleton Elementary/Middle School gymnasium. The Ronnie Sando Band plays rockabilly tunes, while Pop Rox will perform top 40 pop and rock mix. Food and refreshments donated from local restaurants and businesses will be available for purchase as well as chances on a special Joe Maddon Tampa Bay Rays basket, tricky trays and a Silpada silver jewelry sale. , Heights Plumbing & Heating, Anthony Mope & Sons, Jimmy's Quick Lunch, McAdoo Machine Inc. Tickets are $15 per person and $25 per couple and are available at Boscov's courtesy desk, Jimmy's Quick Lunch, Rostas Cafe, Shop 2 and the Beltway Diner. Both bands are donating their talents to benefit the Alice C. Wiltsie Performing Arts Center restoration project. Sency Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, Heights EZ Stop Inc.
